Laylainc.com wants to congratulate our new WWE Women's Champion Layla El. Layla began her first title reign by pinning Beth Phoenix in a handicap match which included Michelle McCool.

Though team Laycool has decided that BFF should share the Women's Title Layla is recognized as the official Women's Champ!

Layla who joined the WWE in 2006 is the first Diva Search Winner to ever win the WWE Women's Title. (Yes Eve Torres is also a Diva Search Winner holding a title but remember she hold the "Diva's Title" not the Women's Title)

So as we approach the anniversary of Layla's 4th year as WWE Diva (Wow where has the time gone?) we salute her and wish her continued success in the WWE.
